Justin Bieber wins BRIT Awards 2016 International Male Solo Artist after telling fans 'don't put faith in me'

Justin Bieber was crowned best International Male Solo Artist at this year's BRIT Awards, accepting the award from Major Lazer.

The Sorry singer has enjoyed a turnaround after making his musical comeback last year, and It‘s resulted in him seeing off competition from Drake, Father John Misty, Kendrick Lamar and The Weeknd to claim the prize.


It is the second time the Canadian crooner has seen success in the Brits, with his last nomination returning in 2011 when he won the International Breakthrough act prize.

Justin won his first Grammy Award earlier this month

The star even admitted he was shaking with emotion, adding :

Man, I’m shaking slightly at this time. I’m really appreciative that’s all and you also guys are awesome, thanks. ”

This year's BRIT Awards come coming from the O2 Arena in London on Wednesday 24th February, with Ant & Dec returning as hosts to the evening.

Until the show, Justin was listed amongst an exciting roster of performers set to grace the stage, including Adele, Coldplay, Little Mix and much more.

It had also been reported there will be a tribute to music legend David Bowie from his friend and Ziggy Stardust impersonator Kate Moss.
